Vegas is 2 points behind the Blues but have played 2 games less , instead of trying to find negatives in an extremely positive situation and being a homer , worry about your own team .... Sheesh !

Both teams have started well but have some concerning items which was the point.

I hope the Knights win the Pacific, just wouldn't bet in Vegas that it will happen.

BTW, the Avs won the xGF, making the xGF 2-6 in correlation to actual results.

That was some f the saddest reffing I have seen. All game Schwartz is being hooked and held. every face off could have been a penalty on vegas"

then the overtime??????? how do you blow two obvious calls like that??? parayko is about to get a break away hooked down nothing. schenn is about to get a break away pull his skates out. if i am the blues i would just tackle guys. but whatever.

obviously the nhl is up to its old tricks.what a joke.

I don't like to blame the refs, but man. That was terrible.

How is it No goal when the goalie is completely across the line? Tripping Parayko in the neutral zone to stop a break away? Tripping Schenn on a breakaway?

The Blues should have put this one away, but the refs looked like they had money on Vegas. Wow!

If this post was about the Habs I would have expressed my concerns but there was zero mention of the Habs only mention of trying to ridicule a team that as of this morning has just as many points as your Blues even though they've plalyed 2 games less and are an expansion team .. LOL ... LOL ... LOL .. homer

I've said it thousands of times and will say it many more before I leave this planet. Good teams win regardless of the refereeing.

As you said, it's awful for every team and just depends on the night. The Blues were the beneficiary against the Avs and drew the short end last night.

My big problem with the goal/no goal call was it was a ridiculously lazy play by the ref in the corner. As Sobotka won the puck battle to the net, he should have been heading toward the goal line for a better view. When Subban started backing into the net with it, he should have been sprinting for the goal line for a better view. Most of the time his skates were parked by the board and he never makes an effort to get closer to the play until after he blows it dead.

But the officiating has become insane. Against Chicago they stop calling it on Chicago to wit hooks with an empty net.
Against the Avs another lazy ref move by allowing the Comeau goal so there other mistake meh.

But once Vegas scores they just start allowing the to hold on the face offs and it gets progressively worse.

No you do have to overcome it but jesus aged christ those kind of noncalls are embarrassing. It would be like plunking a batter in the head and calling a strike. It's entertainment first but it being a sport come on.

The reffing was bad but the Blues had plenty of chances to score on the power play early. I give credit to the Knight's PK, they were super aggressive and gave the Blues very little space. Even at even strength they played pretty good D. They always had two guys back, never gave up an odd man rush that I recall. They lack offensive talent but I bet they'll be able to grab a playoff spot if they can get fleury back.

Blues powerplay is absolutely piss poor at this point. Absolutely (frank)ing terrible. pk on the other hand is quite decent

this team continues to amaze me, gets my hopes up and then quickly squashes them

PK has been horrible

Blues PK is horrendous

I saw an anonymous quote from some blues player saying Jay bo is the best _PK guy in the league

Well they need him back now

The PK lost this game for the blues
